Barbs

Freshwater barbs are a popular group of aquarium fish known for their colorful appearance and active behavior. They are members of the family Cyprinidae and come in a variety of species, such as cherry, tiger, and rosy barbs. Most barbs are relatively small and do well in community aquariums with peaceful tankmates. They are hardy fish and easy to care for, making them a great choice for beginner hobbyists. Barbs are known to be active swimmers, and some species are notorious fin nippers, so it's important to choose compatible tankmates and provide enough swimming space. They are omnivorous and will eat a variety of foods, including flakes, pellets, and live or frozen food. Overall, freshwater barbs are a great addition to a community aquarium and can add a lot of color and activity to your tank.
